One box held yard waste from a wooded lot with sheds out back. One held lumber offcuts from a property with black board fencing. The third was a household cleanout on the front lawn of a brick ranch home. Different loads, different ground, and one truck handling all three. Every container was loaded and ready when the truck pulled up, which is the single best thing a customer can do for pickup day. Easy. Here is how each went. Limbs, brush, shrubs, and leaves are all fine. They made up the whole load at the first home on June 10, where the container sat on the grass near the sheds, filled with cut branches right to the rail.
Wooded lots around Ocala grow fast. Live oaks drop limbs after nearly every storm, and vines take over anything left alone for a season, so a yard cleanup can fill a box quicker than the owner expects. Brush is light but springy. Cut it into shorter lengths and step it down as you load to push the air out. Stumps and root balls are a different story, because the soil packed around them is heavy, so mention them when you book.

Is it okay to put a dumpster on the front lawn?
For a short rental on dry ground, yes, and sometimes the lawn is the only spot that works. At the third home the box sat on the grass beside the front walk, close to the door, so the cleanout never had to be hauled across the yard.
A lawn placement trades a little grass for a lot of convenience. The rails press two lines into the turf, and in Florida's warm season those usually fill back in. The truck is what does real damage. So the driver sets the box from the pavement whenever the yard allows it. Before a lawn drop, point out sprinkler heads, the septic lid, and any buried lines near the spot.

How do you get the most out of pickup day?
Have the container loaded level and clear of cars before the truck arrives. That is what lets a driver cover several homes in one morning.
Level matters most. The truck pulls the box onto its bed at an angle, and a load mounded at one end can shift or spill on the way, so anything above the rail comes off before we leave. Access is next. A car parked in front of the box or a locked gate across the driveway can turn a quick stop into a second trip. Then send a text. A short message that the box is ready helps us build the route.
